Jacqui and Marcie were terrific ringleaders and made the entire experience seamless, fun and gratifying. This tour offered just the right balance of organized group experiences and free time to enjoy all the adventures available in the area. Somehow, Marathon Tours & Travel always assembles a group of travelers that become lifetime friends - and the Queenstown trip was no exception.

We just returned from our most recent Marathon Tours & Travel experience in Queenstown, New Zealand and wanted to let you know how incredible it was. So great to be on the other side of the pandemic and enjoy international travel without all the restrictions again.

Ann and Jacqui were not only knowledgeable about Dublin and the specifics of race day, they even came out to cheer us on! I worked with Ann to book my trip and she was great. Even when she was in Australia, she responded to my emails and answered my questions thoroughly and in a very timely manner.

This is the third trip we have taken with Jacqui. In fact she was a deciding factor for us to take this trip. She is an excellent guide and lots of fun. She knows each location well - the places to visit, the best restaurants, the best places to shop, and excellent recommendations on tours to take. We enjoy our trips with Jacqui because we know she will never steer us wrong.

My most amazing trip ever! Jacqui took good care of us, answered all questions, and made the trip amazing!!! I am thinking about going again.

The trip to Kenya was absolutely incredible! The accommodations were superb, the food great, the marathon tough, but so unlike any other, and Jacqui was so passionate about sharing Kenya, and her love for that wild and wonderful land! I am savoring the experience and memories.

Jeff, Stephanie and Jacqui were the best!! They were always helpful and were very knowledgeable about this trip.

Nomi was a WONDERFUL local guide! I had been to Israel twice before and she let us know everything; some things I didn't even know from my two prior tours. She had us laughing, crying, and always engaged. And of course Karen and Jacqui, whom I had as tour leaders on previous tours, were both fantastic as always. They are pleasant, detail oriented, and great leaders.

Was a little nervous traveling somewhere that English is not the primary language. MT had everything covered so it was not an issue. Fellow travelers, staff made this a wonderful experience. Extension to Kyoto gave me a better feel of Japan than being in the big city (Tokyo). Well worth the extra time and money. And who doesn’t like a trip with Jacqui on it??!! 

It was very well organized, well run, well priced. Scott and Jacqui brought a human-touch to the experience that could have easily been treated more transactional and less personal. They looked out for my interests. I tell everyone this. I will be back.

***** - five stars. Jacqui was extremely attentive to all clients and their unique needs. Jacqui had a very visible presence and made herself available. Her style and experience are so valuable to travelers and runners. Jacqui's presence added to the enjoyable experience.

As always, EXCELLENT staff onsite from Marathon Tours. Always available to answer questions or just to chat. Kept everything on schedule. Communications were informative.

That was one of the best trip that we ever had. Thank you Jacqui and Karen. Everything was so wonderful and memorable for us. We couldn’t ask for anything better. They did magic. 

I had a great time. This was one of the best Marathon tour experiences. There are challenges in a developing country and it was an AMAZING experience beginning to end. Thank you MTT and especially Jacquie and Karen for an experience well done.

I can't say enough about how well Jacqui and Karen managed this trip. They worked very hard to meet everyone's needs, and quickly worked to address any unexpected issue. Their knowledge and experience were evident. 

Wonderful job to the staff! You did a great job and I wonder how much faster you all would have run if you had more rest! A big job keeping the troops informed and all the behind the scenes planning thanks again Jeff, Stephanie and Jacqui see you on the next adventure.

I loved the peace and spiritual aspect of Easter Island. So remote, beautiful and quiet. I appreciated Jacqui's ability to make each and every person feel very special and customize the experience. She is a great guide, and has a wonderful sense of reading people that is indispensable.

Everything on this trip was excellent!! The guides at each location were very informative as well as personable. I loved Jacqui, I can not say enough good things about her!!!

The Holy Land...a trip to the Holy Land. Also, I've been on tours with both Jacqui and Karen, so when I saw they were the tour leaders, I didn't hesitate to sign up.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jacqui. She truly made this trip special, especially being a first time traveler with Marathon Tours. Her knowledge of the destination, organization skills, and hostess warmth are like no other. I want to participate on every tour she manages!

I just wanted to take a moment to say "Shae Shay Nee"…Stephen and I had a WONDERFUL and AMAZING experience in China. Your attention to detail and organization made out trip stress-free and totally enjoyable. From the Wall to the Warriors we couldn't have and a more seamless transition to tours, airports and hotels. Words can not totally express the gratitude we really feel.

It was a pleasure meeting you, Jeff, Lee and Jacqui. We also LOVED our Beijing tour guide, Lilly…she was funny, pleasurable, accommodating and informative…learned so much from her.

Thanks for making this once in a life time trip to China so extraordinary, memorable and a trip to remember.

The race was fabulous, but sharing it with the people I met on the trip -- including the MT folks -- made it so much more memorable. It was this incredible group vibe of excitement and anxiety. I had so much admiration for everyone I met, who, like me, wanted to take on this challenge and visit this far away place. I never thought I'd say this, but I loved being part of a tour that involved riding on buses with new friends. It was like camp for grown-ups, and I didn't want it to end.

The whole trip was amazing! We were discussing that it would have been great to have another night in Xi'an, but then we would have to give up something else. It was a very packed itinerary, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The Tibet extension was great and I would definitely recommend it to others. The Marathon Tours staff was great as always. This was my second trip with Scott and my fourth with Jacqui. They made me feel right at home and like a member of the family. On every trip I've taken, I've met great people and we still keep in touch (on social media and in person).

This was my second trip with Marathon Tours and once again it didn't disappoint. Everything, start to finish, was well organized and the delivery was exactly as outlined. Great hotels: centrally located for easy expo & race access, and to Berlin sites and attractions. Enjoyed and appreciated the reception and pre-race dinner, bus tour, transportation to & from the 6km breakfast run, etc., etc. It was great to meet Nicole (especially after exchanging emails for so many months/years), along with Alyssa, Jacqui, etc. . Also to connect with fellow Canadians Christine and Paul. I appreciated Jeff's personal participation in all the events and his vision for the future of the company and recognition of the staff who will make it all possible.

Everything was fantastic! Jacqui was friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming and inclusive. Accommodations & meals were great! Will definitely use marathon tours again and recommend to other runners!

Our host at the hotel and running event, Jacqui, was a touch of first class. She made us comfortable and at ease for this event.

This was my first international trip let alone running my first international marathon and I am extremely grateful for the overall experience Marathon Tours (Jane and Jacqui) provided. From the hotel & tour in London, to the hotel and tour in Edinburgh, the trip was absolutely incredible. I will definitely book with you again in the future and also recommend you to many of my running friends.

Jacqui and Kelly are off the charts amazing....their knowledge, care, attention to all the details, and they are just fun people. They are a major part of the experience and I couldn't have imagined doing Africa or another more intimate trip like Easter Island without them.

Need more electrolytes on the course. Jacqui and Karen were fabulous! Jacqui went the extra mile time and time again.

There were a lot of moving parts to this trip but all went according to plan. Jacqui and Karen were awesome! Also, I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of food throughout the trip and all the accommodations. The people of Kenya (and Rwanda) were all extremely welcoming and just plain wonderful. The service provided everywhere we went was exceptional.

Jacqui's stories and travels were amazing. We found great deals in a store she shops in Rome. Jacque walked us to the start of the Rome marathon. I felt she truly cared about us and saw us off. Traveling in a tour group is so much more fun! This was a group of fit people with a bunch of energy. It was not a bunch of "retired-acting" people. I made new friends and felt safer. I'm not afraid to travel alone with Marathon Tours. I can't talk anyone into Africa. I may have to go alone. Thank you for wonderful memories.

Jacqui was amazing. She's approachable and knowledgeable. I appreciate her enthusiasm for running marathons and for runners, and also for taking adventures. All of the tour guides we had were passionate about Ireland and open about sharing their knowledge of the country.

Nicole did set up the train and hotel for our extension to Venice after Florence and that was excellent. We ran into Jacqui in Venice also and even though she was on her "own time", she was fabulous about answering questions we had about future trips and places with Marathon Tours. We also did a tour to/through Vatican City which was very nice.
