Following a 37 year career as an attorney and trial judge, Joan welcomed the chance to encourage and support others in pursuit of their running goals. A decades long runner, Joan entered her first race only recently; much to her surprise she wondered why she waited so long!
Although she loved growing up outside New York City, Joan realized over time that she was more suited to a jeans and tee shirt lifestyle. She has called Cape Cod home for over 40 years, relishing the many advantages the outdoor life offers. Beach combing, bird watching, British television, golf, gardening and shellfishing are some of the activities she enjoys- not necessarily in that order! She now spends part of the year in Maui in her newly completed dream house.
