Sonja Viljoen is a medical doctor in Kroonstad, South Africa practicing as a GP with a specialty in anesthesiology. Sonja has a 250 acre farm where she breeds white lions and has herds of other animals roaming her property. She is a two-time Comrades finisher and completed her goal of running a marathon on all seven continents when she finished the 2016 Antarctica Marathon. She has spent a good part of the last four years roaming the world seeking running adventures.
