As previously mentioned, Allyson and Karen, as the most visible members of your team, always displayed a positive life outlook, smiling enthusiasm, and were quick and effective problem solvers. The other tour members, with whom I interacted, all said equally positive comments about everyone on your team, including yourself. 

Jacqui and Marcie were terrific ringleaders and made the entire experience seamless, fun and gratifying. This tour offered just the right balance of organized group experiences and free time to enjoy all the adventures available in the area. Somehow, Marathon Tours & Travel always assembles a group of travelers that become lifetime friends - and the Queenstown trip was no exception.

Thanks for another memorable experience - Lucy had a great race and even as a non-running spectator, this trip was among the best, international or domestic.

Our local tour guide, Laura was amazing. Her knowledge of history, geography, language, sites to visit were incredible. 

It was described as a challenging course and that was not an understatement (or overstatement). I was impressed by the number of aid stations along the course. I never was worried about there not being enough supplies at any of them.

The extension is well worth it. The hotels were well located and the food was excellent. The breakfast at Sofitel Airport Hotel was amazing, we stayed an extra two nights before our flight back home. The sites were all amazing. Laura was exceptional, her passion for her country's history was evident and she had our full attention. 

We would recommend this trip with the extension to our friends. Even though the marathon is hard with not may historic sites on the way, the sites close to the hotel and the extension make this trip worthwhile!
