COURSE - Runners will run through many of the city's famous avenues and plazas, from the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, where the race starts, towards the Place de la Concorde. From the Rue de Rivoli runners will sweep through the Place de la Bastille. After a glimpse of greenery in the Bois de Vincennes, views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower come into view. There are now more than 23,000 international runners in the marathon.
TEMPERATURE – Average temperatures range between 50F and 63F.
ENTRY FEE - Marathon Tours & Travel, as an official Tour Partner of The Paris Marathon and has a special guaranteed race entry fee. Entry only is not available.
ELIGIBILITY – All runners must be at least 21 year of age. In 2023 there were approximately 50,000 registered runners. A medical waiver signed by a physician is required for all runners.
TIME LIMIT - The course time limit is six and a half hours.
NUMBER PICKUP - You will need to pick-up your race bib at the Salon du Running (Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles) from Thursday, April 4 through Saturday, April 6. Learn more here. More than 200 exhibitors will be at the Expo and the times are:
