The private coach bus transfer to the start made everything worth it. That and the hotel location. Made my first Boston experience infinitely better.
I think the best thing is the knowledge and expertise of the Marathon Tours & Travel staff. I love the bus, the hotel, the welcome reception, pasta dinner and the post race celebration.

As previously mentioned, Allyson and Karen, as the most visible members of your team, always displayed a positive life outlook, smiling enthusiasm, and were quick and effective problem solvers. I wanted to let you know how happy I was that I decided to use Marathon Tours for the Boston marathon this year. With the rescheduling and cancellation of the 2020 marathon, I am so appreciative of all the extra work you had to do to make this happen. Your customer service skills are impeccable! Attending the cocktail party, dinner and the bus tour, and all the great advice and fun stories about the Boston Marathon really made this even more special and exciting. I also met some great running women at the various functions which was also a great bonus.
I had a very, very pleasant stay at the Godfrey Hotel in Boston. They gave us runners a very nice surprise when we got back to the hotel. Excellent experience! I strongly recommend it.

While as runners all we had to do was keep going right, left, right, left a zillion times, I can only imagine all you and your team had to do to scramble to make changes. Marathon Tours & Travel, keep up the awesome work! We have been working with your staff for at least the last 13 or 14 years - reserving a block of rooms for our charity team runners and support staff for the Boston Marathon. You always come through, and it is easy for our runners to reserve rooms through the link you set up for us. Allyson has always been wonderful, but especially this year with the date change for the Boston Marathon, trying to find a block of rooms for our runners in an already overcrowded Boston. She is always pleasant and helpful, and does her best to go above and beyond to accommodate all of us. Thank you ALL- I know these are trying times with so many major marathons changing dates, and then cancelling- and you are all doing a great job. I have always booked my room through Marathon Tours for Boston. Next year will be my 4th straight year running the marathon.
The hotel that I booked on-line (Sheraton Boston) was only available starting Friday night before the marathon, but I was planning to arrive on Thursday. I called Marathon Tours to see if they could add Thursday night to my reservation, and Allyson was able to do that after working with the hotel. Thank you!
