I enjoy experiencing new things and to travel to unusual places. Havana was so different to anything I knew or have experienced before. It was an enriching trip.
Karen did a great job before and during the trip. She is very organized, extremely responsive, and very nice to be around - the perfect host.

Hotel Kangerlussuaq was FANTASTIC. Great breakfast and rooms, hot showers. Staff was outstanding. We stayed at the Clarion Hotel upon arrival in Copenhagen and the night prior to departure. The hotel is super convenient, connected to the airport terminal.
Being my first visit I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the coast, the tours, meeting different people, running in a new country. The Safari was well organized!
Stunning scenery in parts of the race - especially the first few kilometers and the stretch that went out to the southern/western neighborhoods.
Location was the best! Loved being by the coast, loved being walking distant to start and finish! Huge plus! Loved the proximity to shopping and the Grand Beach!
This was an amazing trip -- to see SA up close and personal, to experience the blending of multiple cultural influences was humbling and exhilarating at the same time.
Shamwari Extension - Magical experience & worth every penny. Guaranteed animal sightings. Accommodations are comfortable. I liked the afternoon tea before Safari and early morning coffee and breakfast before Safari. The staff were very friendly. Our guide placed hot water bottles on our blankets - well taken care of. Sundown cocktails... overall exceptional experience

Wanted to run the marathon and tour Bordeaux -- and wanted to avoid the complex logistics of trying to organize this by myself. Best running vacation I ever had!
If you are only going to do one marathon, it should be the Medoc! The trip exceeded all my expectations.

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the NYC Marathon. Not having run the event previously, it took the stress out of planning and allowed me to focus on running and enjoying the event. My wife has always been a great supporter and she appreciated meeting both runners and other supporters that are part of what Marathon Tours offers. Thank you and I look forward to joining Marathon Tours at future events.
The hotel venue was perfect! The location worked well as you could walk to the expo or take mass transit. Central park was close for the morning run. Starbucks in the lobby for coffee needs :) The welcome reception was a nice time to meet fellow runners and socialize. The pre race dinner was a great meal- lots of options and I enjoyed Roger and Kathrine. The coach bus and breakfast box was an AMAZING feature of this trip. Honestly, I had heard many horror stories of people being late to start or missing their wave due to transportation issues- so this was one of the main reasons I signed up for the package.
Everything I've come to enjoy about MT -- convenience, worry-free, all the details taken care of...so that all I have to do is show up and run.
