Appreciated the overall organization of Marathon Tours. From Jen assisting me with all my bookings and questions, to the the constant communication from our guides while actually in the UK.
The city of Prague was wonderful. The hotel was very nice. Jen did a great job! She made a point of learning everyone's names and being available if needed. The race was great fun.
HOW WELL ORGANISED IT WAS. The location was great close to everything.Karen and Anna excellant staff tour.
I was very pleased with how Jeff kept everything together and on point without feeling rushed. Our tour guide Vladimir and driver Jorge were the absolute best!
Karen is awesome. She answered all questions promptly and thoroughly. She has a calm, but incredibly organized demeanor that made the trip both for fun and efficient.
At the VIP finish area I could not believe the food. Wow! Hard-boiled eggs, salmon, bagels, potato salad, scones (with cream), great coffee, hint waters. I had to take a picture!! Also enjoyed having the wine tasting right in the VIP area too. It was great to be able to watch all the runners and walkers finish right there!
I love being able to say I ran the Great Wall and that I went to China. But, really, it was the good friends I made along the way and being with so many people for a single purposes and memory we experienced together.
The Great Wall did not disappoint for adventure and stamina needed to complete the race. Local Guides and sites were terrific. Also liked the Rikshaw ride into old Beijing
Experiencing the Great Wall itself was by far the pinnacle. The terra-cotta warriors in Xi'an were a close second.
The logistics were all taken care of in advance. Not much to worry about but the race itself.
I went to Athens and I really liked seeing all of the history in the city and also the marathon was a fantastic experience.
Organization of Marathon Tours. I didn't have to worry about transportation for tours. And finding the best places to visit.
The day trip to Delphi was my absolute favorite and the highlight of my Greece trip.
1. The destination. 2. Running on two continents. 3. Running past ancient ruins.
Besides just finishing the race (!), the location of the hotel was really really perfect (although see the next item). Thank you for having an "Asian" opportunity with weather that wasn't too hot. It was a great day to run.

The local tour guides were excellent. I was surprised how much I learned about Turkish and Ottoman history and culture.
