A must do experience! Even if you have completed your Seven Continents as I have, I recommend this Marathon Tours Great Wall Trip! There were so many amazing tours and stops and the food was phenomenal.
Great trip for myself and my son. We met many wonderful new people and had many new experiences! All the tours, meals and race itself were executed with precision. Couldn't ask for more. Hotels were awesome and food was abundant and wonderful.
A once in a life time adventure. You can't imagine the magnitude of the Great Wall until you are standing on it!
Remarkable, ridiculously difficult, amazing culture and a one of a kind experience
As a somewhat anxious traveler who had never gone so far away from home I had a few concerns. I called Scott with a list of questions and received educated, experienced and informative answers that made me comfortable. The Itinerary was very structured and specific which I also liked. I felt assured all was safe and everything would be taken care of. I'm thrilled to say it was.
Scott and Ann immediately made every effort to make guests feel welcome and at home, regardless of how far from home that one might be! They're both pros and I very much look forward to the prospect of doing future tours with them.

Awesome. The run was incredible and very well-supported. Marathon Tours made it all so easy, taking care of all the little details so we could just enjoy ourselves. I would never try to do a trip like this on my own.
Overall, the Great Wall marathon and experience was absolutely life changing. Before this trip my option and understanding of China was not at all what I saw and experienced. This was eyeopening and hugely educational. I feel fortunate to have taken this trip and am excited to share what I learned with my friends and family. Job Well Done!!
Learning about the different cultures. Meeting people from all around the world and their different abilities and interests in traveling. Best of all was being with people with the same (running) values. No whiners. I had a great compatible roommate that you paired me up with.
Jeff and Scott provided very valuable information about the race from a participants point of view. This helped me greatly and I was able to better prepare my expectations.
I had an incredible time on this trip to China. Running the GW was extremely difficult but also very rewarding when I crossed the finish line. The comradery and friendships of fellow runners made this event even more special. Both Scott and Jeff were extremely helpful on this journey and made the experience so much fun. Everything about your all's operation was excellent, from the communication with you personally pre-trip, to the information and itineraries, support in country (including great tour guides and all the sites), and knowledgeable and upbeat staff. I have zero suggestions for improvement.
I just wanted to take a moment to say "Shae Shay Nee"…Stephen and I had a WONDERFUL and AMAZING experience in China. Your attention to detail and organization made out trip stress-free and totally enjoyable. From the Wall to the Warriors we couldn't have and a more seamless transition to tours, airports and hotels. Words can not totally express the gratitude we really feel.

This was my first marathon, I had a thousand questions and Scott had a thousand answers. Scott was FANTASTIC
The race was fabulous, but sharing it with the people I met on the trip -- including the MT folks -- made it so much more memorable. It was this incredible group vibe of excitement and anxiety. I had so much admiration for everyone I met, who, like me, wanted to take on this challenge and visit this far away place. I never thought I'd say this, but I loved being part of a tour that involved riding on buses with new friends. It was like camp for grown-ups, and I didn't want it to end.
The whole trip was amazing! We were discussing that it would have been great to have another night in Xi'an, but then we would have to give up something else. It was a very packed itinerary, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The Tibet extension was great and I would definitely recommend it to others. The Marathon Tours staff was great as always. This was my second trip with Scott and my fourth with Jacqui. They made me feel right at home and like a member of the family. On every trip I've taken, I've met great people and we still keep in touch (on social media and in person).
This trip was an awesome experience. Marathon Tours provided an excellent service. This trip was well worth the money.
I was so well taken care of I did not even wear a watch. It was nice to have all the decisions and logistics taken care of so we could focus on the venues and the overall experience. It was really a downer having to make my own breakfast and drive my own car!!
The atmosphere of traveling with a group of fellow runners. I have been on several group type trips and nothing has had the same sort of camaraderie, support, respect and level of understanding as runners traveling together.
