This was a life enhancing experience. To have been able to share this with two of my sons, made the experience even more special. It was the realization of a dream - for me, but also for them.
Otherworldly, incredibly beautiful, eye-opening, deeply informative, comfortable, so well put together by very experienced people, and "go to Antarctica with Marathon Tours & Travel".
It is extremely difficult to explain this experience...but the only thing I can say to people is that if they get the opportunity, they must go!
I wanted to thank you for all you did to set up the extra hotel for Chicago - it was OUTSTANDING! Definitely keep the JW Marriott on your list for next year, it was extremely comfortable, quiet, and luxurious. Thank you for you all of your help and I look forward to NY!
Thank you to the Marathon Tours & Travel team for a wonderful Comrades Marathon experience. I had an amazing time and can’t wait until next year’s tour and race.
I really enjoyed running the Comrades Marathon. While certainly challenging, you feel on top of the world after completing the Ultimate Human Race.
The race was incredible. Coming back next year!

The Comrades Marathon trip was an unforgettable experience because the race is simply the best race and an inspiration to all.
The entire trip was beyond expectations!
The Big Five Marathon will challenge you from the first mile to the last, but it will reward you with an experience like none other and leave you with special memories that will last a lifetime.
This was an unforgettable experience and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It was superbly organized by Albatros and Marathon Tours & Travel. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The location of Hanglip Lodge, the views, the animals, the staff at the lodge, and the race day experience and the secret ingredient - the amazing camaraderie of the other runners at the lodge - it all came together in a magical experience. I would also like to highlight what Albatros and MTT does well, which is involving spectators in everything and recognizing their importance. Many of us runners would not be doing these trips if our partners were not involved in this way. Thank you for that, and please continue keep spectators front of mind.
Absolutely fantastic before, during, and after the trip! I look forward the Queenstown, NZ experience this fall!
Marcie came to our lodge (Hanglip) to check in, which I thought was nice as she wasn't staying there. We also saw her around the finish line on race day and at the celebration dinner. Given the disparate location of the lodges this may have been a challenging one to support, but I felt the level of onsite support was good. She had provided her contact info ahead of time so that any of us could reach her if necessary.
Our group, the ease of itinerary, the trek, Bhutan - everything! I felt like we were on a very local and cultural trip that didn't feel like a 'tour'.
The location was incredible! The culture and activities/tours were fun and interesting. The tour guides were the best!! The tour group was a wonderful group of people. Ann was a great host!
We had a travel group that meshed very well. Many solo travelers, like myself, so that was reassuring from the start.

It was one of the best experiences of my life. It was my first trip to Asia and I will not be deterred by the long flight to go again. I am so glad the cultural component of the trip was as rich and varied as it was and that it was presented to us by such a wonderful young man from Bhutan. He treated us like family and really helped me see the interweaving of Buddhism into all aspects of living in Bhutan. I tell everyone if they want a special experience they will always remember they need to travel to Bhutan. If they are a runner I emphasize how fantastic the marathon experience was as well.
