Big Sur International Marathon

I thoroughly enjoyed the Big Sur experience. The staff was wonderful!

They did all the thinking for me. All I had to do was show up to get a top notch experience!

Took all the work out of figuring things out. Just show up, eat, meet, run. Great! Lovely accommodations.

The Portola Hotel is a great location and nice hotel to stay at. Reception and pre-race dinner were excellent. And really appreciated the private coach to the start.

Wonderful, attentive, supportive staff. Great accommodations and guest speakers and guides. Tends to draw very kind runners.

The hotel and having all the details taken care of were all I wanted. Marathon Tours makes it very easy to travel to these hard-to-get-in-to marathons.

Everything ran SO smoothly and everyone was very helpful. I was impressed at how efficiently the bus "issue" was handled on race morning.

Great combination - very good hotel, relaxing/interesting tours, fun wine-tasting and knowledgeable tour guides, well organized. My first time with Marathon Tours and I really did not have to worry about anything - just completing the course!

This was truthfully a life changing experience for me and I am so pleased with how everything panned out. Don't change a thing! I will definitely be running with Marathon Tours again! I just need to figure out where... Decisions, decisions..

Everything was awesome from the hotel, breakfast and run in the morning, the course tour and the tent at finish line area. 

VIP Finish Tent - It was awesome to have our own area and it wasn't crowded... the food was great and the beer, too!!

Course Tour - Loved the insights from Hugo, his advice was REALLY helpful!!! I know I ran a much better race than I would have because of him... his advice was also appreciated by my husband for the parking at the finish area!!

It was fantastic! The race expo was well organized. The bus pick-up was very smooth and I didn't have to wait long. They had lots of water stops and porta potties.

Very beautiful location, Marathon Tours helped maximize our experience.
