All three team members - Jeff, Ann and Alyssa - were available for questions and information. It is always a pleasure to to travel with MTT. Staff is friendly, make you feel comfortable and important, and provide the opportunity to achieve individual goals.

The work that goes into creating an event like this didn’t go unnoticed. Tremendous team effort well done. From my perspective it was the trip of a lifetime, everything totally taken care of no stone left unturned. Congratulations.

I loved the scenic beauty and friendly Chilean people and will never forget the Patagonia Marathon and the friendship with my fellow runners.

Thank you to Ms. Suter for her excellent piece on what to do if your race is cancelled. Her writing reminded me to refocus on mindfulness and to maintain the training plan for the Outback. Her counsel applies not only to running but to life in general. In line with something Ms. Suter writes, I recently resumed yoga to help deal with the Covid-19 stress. I had started following a Runner’s World yoga DVD in the months prior to Bhutan to prepare spiritually.  Ironically I dropped yoga when we returned to the states because I felt too busy!

That leads to my next thought.  We were reminiscing the past two days about our wonderful time in Bhutan.  Thank you to the great staff at Marathon Tours & Travel.  These memories, plus Patagonia and the Big 5 tours, remind us of the beauty in the world.  We greatly appreciate the work Ann and Stephanie have done for us.  We look forward to traveling again. 

Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the finish - so nice being by the hotel so we could get showered and then cheer the others in.

The Rio Serrano hotel experience was fantastic! The hotel was well-maintained and in a beautiful setting, I can't praise the staff highly enough for their professionalism and for making people feel comfortable. That includes all the excursion staff.

This trip exceeded my expectations with the beauty of the area, adventurous spirit, amazing accommodations, and amazing MTT staff.

The Patagonia Marathon is among my top three marathons with Boston and Berlin, as no marathon I have experienced rivals the natural beauty of the course and the social interaction with other runners.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the trip. Patagonia was Number 2 on my travel bucket list since childhood (Number 1 was Antarctica :-)). As all my trips with MT this one was just wonderful, well organized, and allowed me to experience an absolutely mesmerizing landscape, its unique fauna and flora and wonderful people with a great group of like minded runners and travelers!

Our experience at Torres del Paine made me feel very special. We were receiving the best dedicated service, staying at the most glamorous accommodations and at the same time so close to the wonderful nature around us.

Wonderful job to the staff! You did a great job and I wonder how much faster you all would have run if you had more rest! A big job keeping the troops informed and all the behind the scenes planning thanks again Jeff, Stephanie and Jacqui see you on the next adventure.

Valle Nevado is the newest and grandest of the Tres Valles resorts. Sporting Chile’s only detachable quad and a five star hotel at its base area, Valle Nevado attracts a very international crowd that enjoy its expansive intermediate focused terrain. Valle Nevado features huge wide-open slopes amidst spectacular mountain scenery. With an amazing 9,000 acres of in bounds ski-able terrain and the highest lift service in the Southern hemisphere, Valle Nevado presents vast powder opportunities. In addition to Valle’s ginormous in bounds area it also offers private heli-skiing in its adjacent valleys. What Valle Nevado lacks in steepness and extreme terrain it makes up for in pure area. The Tres Puntas poma lift, the longest in South America, drops riders off at 3,670 meters (12,040 feet) beneath the gargantuan 17,000 foot Cerro Plomo Peak.
