When you run in Rome, you run in an open-air museum!
This is a route that is unmatched anywhere in the world. With a start and finish at the Roman Forum, you will pass in front of the Vittoriano; then in Piazza Venezia, you will gaze upon the Circus Maximus and feel the breeze of the Lungotevere. From there your eyes will cast upon Castel Sant’Angelo as well as St. Peter’s Basilica. Other famous sites on the course include the Foro Italico, the Mosque, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna with the famous Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and Via del Corso. I honestly cannot think of anything that I would do differently - Nicole (and team) did a fabulous job, and the hotel, etc are excellent choices.
Nicole and Ann are outstanding. Very customer focused and both made the extra effort to ensure everybody is taken care of. from pre-planning to making sure we could get our COVID tests coming home. They were involved and on top of making sure we had a great trip.
