Australian Outback Marathon, Half-Marathon, 11K and 6K

This was a fantastic and adventures vacation - more than a race.

What did I like best about the trip? The Sydney pre race add on got to tour Sydney and spend time with others before event.

Pure laughter was everywhere as was a deep cultural immersion coupled with a raw, natural, unpredictable, unforgiving environment free from modern distractions. The 2019 Australian Outback Marathon/Half-Marathon was a perfectly planned, supported and executed, celebratory event where citizens from six continents joined together establishing a temporal United Nations under a a common mantra language “No worries Mate!,” to the distant sounds of a digeridoo. Cue the dingos.

All the way through the pre-booking process, the event itself, and post event communication, Ann made her mark in representing the Marathon Tour participants making a wonderful and unique race experience all the more special.

The majesty of running in a place as spiritual as Uluru is indescribable. Though I am still shaking red sand from my shoes, the experience and wonderful people I have met along the way is not one I will soon forget!

4th trip with Marathon Tours, will book again. Love the combination of adventure and opportunity to meet people from around the world!

Incredible scenery, warm and friendly people and an exceptionally well-organized event combined to create a trip of a lifetime.

Hard to pick just one thing - - just being in the presence of such a profound natural and cultural environment. The Sounds of Silence Celebration dinner brought a lot of the trip experiences together. The marathon course was sensational!

This trip was a kaleidoscope of amazing sensations - sights, sounds, smells, movement, touch and spirit.

The Outback Marathon was an exceptional adventure. Loved it! Sound of Silence Dinner was quite an experience. It was over too soon!

The scenery was exceptionally beautiful and spiritual.

The marathon - it was an amazing experience. The philosophy was great - everyone is a champion. I left with great feelings about the marathon and the Outback - great respect for the people and the land! It was truly magical!

The race and the race committee were amazing. The celebration dinner was also amazing.

This trip was an amazing transformative experience.
