Familiar with this top notch hotel and I am glad Marathon Tours picked it to house their runners. Within close proximity from the finish line, and metro stops, and most importantly, a bridge away from my favorite place to get sweets (Georgetown Cupcakes).
By far the best organized US marathon experience and the Blue Mile, honoring all the fallen heroes of this great nation. This portion of the marathon was so moving that I cried looking at all the pictures.
I just wanted to express my thanks to you and your entire group for an incredible weekend. I mistakenly assumed your package would simply ease my burden of a hotel room and transportation; however, it was so much more. The talks by Kathrine and Roger did so much for me and my nerves the night before my first Boston Marathon. Their talks and books with continue to inspire my passion for running. The friends I made at the dinner and my entire experience were enhanced by your hard work.
Thank you for all of your hard work that led to a wonderful Boston experience for us. The hotel room was perfect. The dinner and the talks from Kathryn and Roger were wonderful and inspiring. Also the bus transfer situation was just fine, with no problems whatsoever!
I enjoyed meeting like-minded destination marathoners from all parts of the world. I thought I would be grouped with only people from the U.S. like myself, but meeting runners from around the world was awesome!
Amazing landscape and supportive and enthusiastic it's very well run. Old Camp is pretty low-end lodging, but there isn't anything the race organizers can do about that. I was delighted that I was able to switch to the hotel on the second day. All in all, this is a fantastic race and experience. Bravo! staff, very knowledgeable
What did I like best? Being with family, meeting people from different areas of the country and being able to see Ireland, be educated about it's history & traveling thru Galway, County Clare/Burren region, saw a little bit of everything, it was the trip of a lifetime for me!
The Dublin Marathon experience through Marathon Tours proved to be the friendliest running event; great balance of running, site-seeing, and culture!
The guaranteed entry. This is my third time doing NYC, and I would NOT have done it this time if it weren't for the Marathon Tours entry and tour package.
While I usually travel on my own, the special nature of travel to Cuba made going with a group make sense. I looked at Insight Cuba, since they have more overall experience with Cuba travel, but your information showed a clear advantage for a running-specific trip.
